Welcome to Buckingham Road SurgeryBuckingham_road_surgery.jpg

The doctors and staff at Buckingham Road Surgery in Harlesden are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side.

Disabled Access

There is disabled access to the premises and the doors and the passage ways to consulting rooms are wide for wheelchair access.

Online Services

We have a number of online services available  including repeat prescriptions, appointment booking and appointment cancellations, newsletter subscription and more.

In order to use the online services provided by the surgery all patients should ask in reception for Patient Access Form.

Patient Access Form containes:   PIN, Practice ID, Access ID and your NHS number of the patient.

Named GP

All patients aged 75 and above have an allocated NAMED GP.  This has always been the case at Buckingham Road Surgery however NHS England have recently advised all practices to do the same.  Your named GP is the one whose name appears on your repeat prescriptions.  If you would like confirmation please ask at reception.

SMS Text Messages Service

Buckingham Road Surgery  is now able to send patients text message reminders of their appointments.  This service may also be used in the future for sending other patient information (with your consent) such as test results and reminders to make appointments for annual health checks & reviews.

Please ensure we have an up to date mobile number if you wish to benefit from this FREE service.

Missed Appointments

Every month over 300 GP & Nurse appointments are missed by patients when they do not attend (DNA) without ringing to cancel or re-book.  This is a huge waste of time and money that also makes it more difficult for other patients to book.
